This page covers personal information collected through this website. How we handle data licensed from supplier companies is a separate and much longer subject, covered on the trust page.

Who we are

What this site collects

Only what you type into a form on the contact page: your name, work email, company, role and the details of your enquiry, together with the time you gave consent and the network address the submission came from. The network address is used to rate-limit abuse.

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies and embeds no third-party trackers.

Why we collect it and what we do with it

To answer your enquiry and, if a commercial relationship follows, to carry it on. Enquiries are delivered to us by email through a transactional email provider. We do not sell enquiry data, and we do not add you to a marketing list you did not ask for.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a relationship are deleted within twelve months. Enquiries that do are kept for as long as the relationship and the records we are required to keep.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will do it. Under PIPEDA you may also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, and we would rather you came to us first so we can fix it.

Changes

If this page changes materially we will change the date at the top and we will not apply a new purpose retroactively to information already collected.
